About Us
Mark Lunny
Over the past ten years I have been heavily involved in the recruitment industry both in
New Zealand and Australia, focusing on building long term sourcing strategies for major corporate
organizations.
Most recently in New Zealand, I was instrumental in creating a positive and enticing employment brand
for Works infrastructure. This involved the re-branding of Works infrastructure, implementing new livery
across all vehicles in the fleet, revitalizing all the 86 branches across the country and developing many
different recruitment sourcing strategies.
These sourcing strategies including many different media and scoping a long term sourcing plan from the UK and Europe. This was a highly successful three year project with a significant reduction of the recruitment costs.
The experience and industry knowledge led to the establishment of Global Village in 2007 and the focus has been to add value to a recruitment strategy rather than replace or copy.
John Botica
I have a wealth of experience over a wide range of industries.
From my first job out of college as a public servant with Maori and Island Affairs, a regular force soldier in the New Zealand Army, a pipeline construction worker in outback Australia for 7 years in some of the harshest environments in the world.
I have over 15 years experience in Senior Sales roles in the Telco/IT industry with a number of the tier one organisations in the New Zealand
The diverse range of different industries I have been involved in makes me a specialist in people and is probably the catalyst for my involvement in Global Village Recruitment.
So whilst new to the recruitment industry I am a seasoned veteran of the people market.
It's who you don't know that’s important and that is where Global Village's looks to add value to recruitment.
